Ambassadors

URGENT HELP NEEDED! We are seeking local area friends and supporters to be organized into leadership, Beach Ambassadors and beach social teams for both Apollo and Playalinda beaches. Don't live in the local area? No problem - we can use your volunteer skills as well - keep reading.

These teams will be both a social organization as well as a group of volunteers that assume care and mentorship of our clothing optional beaches. These teams must be individuals who are committed to promoting established standards of Naturist philosophy, behavior and etiquette.

We are seeking individuals with following skill sets:

Organizational Leadership: Beaches We are hoping to recruit a core group of local volunteers for each beach who wants to see the beaches thrive. We need visionaries that can motivate other leaders and volunteers as we put together a cohesive organizational and growth strategy to make each beach team successful. Desired life experiences would include organizational leadership positions and a successful track record of organizing and motivating teams of workers or volunteers.

Organizational Leadership: National Park We are hoping to recruit a core group of local volunteers for coordinating the activities of the Beach Leadership Teams and liaising with the Canaveral National Seashore leadership and rangers. We need visionaries that can motivate other leaders, volunteers and the beach groups to help devise a growth strategy to make each beach team successful. Desired life experiences would include organizational leadership positions and a successful track record of interfacing with governmental organizations.

Volunteer / Member Recruitment We are hoping to recruit one or more local volunteers for each beach with creative minds who can organize recruitment activities to fill out each of the beach team positions. We need creative visionaries able to devise, communicate and execute member and recruitment programs that fill our ranks with motivated participants. Desired life experiences might include human relations or social group leadership experiences.

Fund Raising Event Planning We are hoping to recruit one or more local or remote volunteers with creative minds who can organize fund raising events to publicize our beaches and to engage both members and potential recruits in fun-filled activities that would raise funds for improvements to our beaches. Desired life experiences might include political, sports or other social group fund raising leadership experiences.

National Parks & Law Enforcement Coordination We are hoping to recruit one or more local volunteers for each beach to becoming best friends with the National Parks leadership at each of the beaches. These liaisons will affect two-way communications between the parks and the beach naturists to ensure that lack of communications does not result in any problems with the use of the beaches. Desired life experiences might include business or social liaison with governmental entities or law enforcement.

Social Event Planning We are hoping to recruit one or more local volunteers for each beach with creative minds who loves to organize and put on fun social events. Desired life experiences might include planning organizing successful social events for our naturist beach-goers.

Sporting / Competitive Events Planning We are hoping to recruit one or more local volunteers for each beach who are competitive and can organize and schedule competitive teams and sporting challenges on each beach. We would love to be able to challenge like-teams from other area beaches. Desired life experiences might include organizing and leading youth sports and competitions.

News / Public Relations Coordination We are hoping to recruit one or more local or remote volunteers for each beach who are skilled writers and understand the 24-hour news cycle and organizational public relations. Desired life experiences might include public relations or organizational marketing.

Social Media Gurus We are hoping to recruit one or more local or remote volunteers for each beach who understand the current social media world and unafraid to leverage these medium to spread the word about our beaches and keep followers abreast of beach activities and conditions. Desired life experiences might include work experience in social media marketing or even a quick study with many followers.

Official Beach Photographers We are hoping to recruit several local volunteers for each beach who are skilled in photography or moviemaking and have some experience in art composition or marketing. Desired life experiences might include hobby or professional photography skills and organizational marketing.

Beach Patrol We are hoping to recruit a handful of local volunteers for each beach to organize and staff a Beach Ambassadors program to patrol the beaches, be the public face of our organization and help introduce noobs to the experience and social protocols of the naturist lifestyle. Beach Ambassadors must be trained to politely intervene when witnessing any acts by individuals that might be an offense to other sunbathers or that might have the potential to jeopardize naturist use of our beaches. Desired life experiences might include organizational leadership, law enforcement or other military or public service.

Beach Event / Condition Reporters We are hoping that every beach-goer will challenge themselves to regularly blog or write reviews every time we go to one of our beaches. Active messaging on social media or trip report sites is one of the fastest ways to get the message out about the increasing acceptability of frequenting our beaches.

Treasurer / Accounting We are hoping to recruit one or more local or remote volunteers for each beach who are skilled in areas of finance or accounting to be responsible for membership fees and other fund-raising events that we may occur on the beaches. Desired life experiences might include past organizational financial positions or other bank or tax related experience.

Web Site Development using Coffee Cup RSD We are hoping to recruit one or more local or remote volunteers to help maintain and expand our web site. Our current site is built using the Coffee Cup Responsive Site Designer development tool which can create modern responsive-compliant sites without writing any code. Desired life experiences might include past web site development, but at minimum must include a good understanding of responsive site design and search engine optimization (SEO).

Web Site Graphics Design While we must have skilled web site developers, everyone knows that developers have no sense of graphics design which is what really makes for a catchy web site. We are hoping to recruit one or more local or remote volunteers to give guidance to the developers on what really makes a superior web site. Desired life experiences might include formal or natural artistic skills, experience in web site graphics design, or organizational marketing materials design.
